Hi,
Both Mars and Venus are not available at this time, we believe the datacentre these servers are in is experiencing power issues. We will update this thread as more information comes in.
Thanks,

Hi,
We have had confirmation from the datacentre that it is a power issue and that they are doing everything they can to rectify the situation.
Thanks,

Hi,
Mars has been back online for around 15 minutes and Venus has just come back online too.
We will confirm the nature of the issue and how the datacentre plans to address the root cause once we receive the full incident report.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this unscheduled downtime.
Thanks,

Hi,
We have received the final report from the datacentre:
| Quote: | | At 22:54 workmen installing a new water main in the Maidenhead area cut through one of two main HV feed's supplying BlueSquare House. Utility power dropped to the site, and the generators started as expected. However an electrical interlock fault with the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) failed to transfer the load to the generator supply. At 23:02 the UPS batteries discharged and the load was dropped to the data floor. After a manual override by our onsite engineers power was restored via the generators and the critical load was recovered. After further testing of the ATS system and interlocks we switched back to full mains supply (via the secondary HV feed) at 01:26. Further diagnostics were carried out on the electrical interlock without any faults found. We plan to carry out further testing and diagnostics of the interlock system over the next 7 days which will be advised in a separate maintenance ticket. |
Thanks,
