This is my first visit, I am unfamiliar with forums and hope that I don't make too many mistakes. Firstly I want to thank Darryl and Andrew for their fantastic support and help.
I have a ladies footwear and accessories website. Please take a look and tell me what you think.

I hope this isn't too harsh - it is meant as constructive comment.
1) Welcome page - get rid of it. I want to see your products - not a splash screen that gets in the way.
2) If you don't want to get rid of the welcome page, make the entire page clickable. I don't want to search for some tiny click region just to enter your site.
3) "Shoes" and "Handbags" is only mentioned once on the home page. You want google to pick your site up so increase your keywords as much as you can get away with.
4) The label names on the front page should be clickable and go somewhere sensible.
5) You need alt tags for your images.
Otherwise I like it. The design works well I think.  |

I'd also consider changing the cursive font at the top of the content area on the main page - it looks nice but I find it quite hard to read.

I use Firefox with Flashblock and NoScript, and I am unable to get into the site at all.

Not my area of expertise, but I think you will find that enabling them will fix it for you...

That is exactly my point. To get into the site I have to disable all the protection I have in place to prevent nasties.
It is all very well having a "pretty" flash front page, but if you give no indication what the site is, and how to get into it, then you are losing audience.

Also, there doesn't seem to be any way for search engines to index the site, and it also seems that it might fall foul of the UK laws on accessibility.
