Bandwidth Limits for different packages & DNS setup

Hello,

i have been reading posts in your forum and it is good to see clients with 5 years still happy with your services.

to my point.

i have 2 domain with another provider (heartinternet.co.uk) and i am not sure when these will expire (1 x .net, 1 x .co.uk)

i would like to know if i can keep the DNS over with them until expiring.
if you have a FULL DNS editor - that i can manage my DNS entries including NS.example.com

On your email packages
i can not find the info on Bandwidth limits. what are they?

Our email only plans do not support full DNS zone editor capabilities. You can add this to the plan for £10/year. You can however manage your nameservers via our client area without charge.

Both packages come with a 10GB/month transfer limit which would be very hard to come near to using email.

if i do buy the web and email hosting would the DNS be inclusive?
and if so would that be a FULL DNS management or a cut down version?

reason i ask is that, heartinternet.co.uk advertise as FULL DNS management but it does not give access to NS and i think only 1 MX.

i run my own development server at my office (JSP, Tomcat), and i require creating odd sub-domain for those projects.

Hi,

With the web hosting some DNS management is available through your control panel, you can create A records, CNAME records and multiple MX records. If you wish to create any further records we can do this for you if you submit a ticket.
