Even thou I have hotlink protection enabled, I am having a constant problem with a Japanese website which seem to be able to hotlink to images on my site over the last few months.

I don't really want to set-up an offensive 'image' to display on their site, as I feel it's a war I would not be able to win - I would only antagonise them.

The only way I know they are linking to an image, is occasionally I get an error message in cPanel. Nothing shows up in the 'reffering sites' in cPanel or Google Analytics.

So, do I need to redesign my website, or is it just one of those things that I will have to put up with? Please note, web design and websites are still relatively new to me - so please don't blind me with science!

Ian,

If you can me a few more details e.g. site in question, image in question and the site that is hotlinking I can take a look at measures to prevent it.

If you don't want to release this information on the community then you can send in a ticket.
