would just like to confirm something. I need to setup an FTP account to be used in a batch script which I have setup to login to a specific folder. Am I right in assuming once this is done that profile would only have access to that folder and any subfolders to it. There would be no way of getting to a different place on the server?

Hi,

Yes this is correct, the user would be chrooted to the directory you specify when setting up the FTP account.

Thanks,

Andrew
