Hello

About 6 years ago I registered a .com to use for my e-mail as it looks better on CVs etc.

Alas a friend whom I gave the address to fell victim to a virus that harvested their address book so now I get a lot of spam.

Have tried a couple of hosts with spam filtering (including the company that my domain is registered with that seems to be the most effective but they charge an arm and a leg for it).

Your mail hosting seems to be what I'm looking for but just wondered if the spam filtering includes greylisting support as discussions with others seem to suggest its quite effective.

If you do I'll be interested in moving my mail to you.

I would also like to know whether I can just adjust the NS or MX records if I do purchase mail hsoting or do I need to transfer the domain to you.

The reason I ssk is I am a private non trading individual and have paid for WHOIS privacy services with my current registrar so would prefer to leave it where it is.

Thanks in advance

pctech

Hi,

Thanks for your interest in NetHosted!

Our spam solution does include greylisting support. You can enable this on a per-domain basis.

If you transfer your domain into our care you can adjust the nameserver or MX entries. If you leave it with your current provider then you can still use our email and hosting packages you can simply make the changes to the MX or nameservers at your existing registrar.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hello Andrew

Thanks for your response here and via e-mail, was really surprised to get such a quick response on a Monday evening, am impressed.

Have got the account set up and made the NS changes at my registrar and spent a bit of time seting the accounts and filtering up in cpanel.

Looks like the service I've been after for a long time, am really impressed at the filtering arsenal available.

Thanks again

No problem!

You can find greylisting/delaying in the ASSP Spam tool in cPanel.

Thanks,

Andrew
