I just got an email from Nethosted with information about a domain, but I can't read the body of the message. It's a perfectly valid email about a request for me to check my domain details. The problem seems to be that my Thunderbird 9.0.1 on Linux Opensuse 11.4 has a problem with the base64 encoding of the message.
At first I thought it might be a spam or scam thing, but not so, I can read the message perfectly well at source using webmail on the server. But TB client insists on presenting a blank message body. Just wondering if anyone else has the same issue?
There seems to be an ongoing history of problems with base64 encoding in TB, which perhaps is not fixed yet. Strange, I seem to recall getting previous notifications and being able to read them correctly. |
