| |
Dears,
I was wondering if the databases were accessible remotely?
To deploy my application, I use phing that can upload the application by FTP.
Is it possible to deploy SQL scripts remotly? If so, what's the address?
I tried with the address of venus but I received a timeout, so, I think it's not possible. Could you confirm?
Thank you! |

Hi,
We need your IP address and the full name of the database in order to grant remote PgSQL privileges.
Thanks,

Hi,
I've seen that you only have one database and I've noted your IPs used to access it so far. All should now have access via the default PgSQL remote port 5432.
Thanks,

Great
Indeed, it works.
The only problem is that I do not have a static IP :/
So, tomorrow it won't work again.
What could we do then?
Thank you very much for your actions and great help!
Good evening |

Hi,
Does your IP stay in a range? We can give access to these for you.
Thanks,

Hello,
No, it does not really stay in a range. I understand the risk, so I will do in another way: creating a webpage that call the scripts previously uploaded and ask phing to call this page
It will be enough and more secure for the database.
Thank you very much! |

Hi,
In that case shall I remove your remote access rights from PgSQL?
Thanks,
