Can anyone recommend to me the best way to go about setting up a db and filesystem backup? I would like it to write both to a directory (preferably zipped) once a week or so that my client can then download for off-site storage.
What backups does nethosted take as standard?
Thanks

Hi,
cPanel doesn't have a built in method to automate this, you can take them manually via the Backups section, you can also refer to this thread on how to setup automated MySQL backups via cron: http://www.nethosted.co.uk/community/t3495.html
As standard we take backups over a period of a month, these are staggered so that we have around 10 full backups of your site files at any one time. All our shared servers are setup in a RAID1 configuration as well as our backup servers where your backups are stored.
