Hi,
Is it possible to put a sub-domain on to a Dedi IP for SSL?
Example: login.domain.tld ?
The www is already on a Dedi IP for SSL _________________ Regards,

Hi,
This is possible if it has it's own cPanel account for the subdomain, it cannot be an addon/parked domain.

Just want to re-look at this.
If the sub-domain has it own account and SSL setup on it, on the same server as the main site, can it use the same database details as the main site. _________________ Regards,

Garry,
Yes this shouldn't be a problem, you just need to enter the correct database username/password for the database you want to access.

just a quick note
your certificate has to be granted to:
*.yourdomain.net
instead of:
yourdomain.net
something that i learn (by mistake) |

To be clear on this if you want a certificate to work on a subdomain then you must purchase it for that subdomain name unless you purchase a wildcard certificate which would work for all subdomains but is significantly more expensive than a standard certificate.
