I've never particularly liked Flash as a web technology, it's never been that reliable nor integrated properly with the browser.

There are some fantastic things that people create in Flash, I just don't agree with the other 98% of crap that people pour onto the internet using Flash just because they think it's the only way they can do it (which most often is not the case - some simple javascript or CSS can do the same job more efficiently).

I agree, it has its place whatever Jobs thinks.

Of course it's also only recently that CSS/Javascript can compete as, like all Adobe products, it gets too bloated.
