Have hosting, just doing the domain transfer thingy. As the domains are existing rather than new I understand that they will be transferred with existing nameservers. Is this correct and if so do I blank out the nameservers in teh form or leave as is?

Those fields actually isn't used so it doesn't matter what is there, they aren't automatically updated, it's just a little quirk of the transfer system.

Regards,

Darryl

Domain transfers now in progress too.

I assume that the current domain/email forwarding from .com to .co.uk will continue to work until my hosting and forwarding packages with fasthosts expire. If I make the swap in teh next week or two then what do I need to do to forward .com to .co.uk?

To set up forwarding on our service what you do is add the domain to be forwarded via the cPanel Parked Domains page. Once this is added you can setup the domain forwarding on this page using the Manage Redirection option.

For the email forwarding you should use the Forwarders page in cPanel, you can add a domain forwarder from there to forward all mail from the domain to a single address or to a new domain with addresses preserved.

When you set this up it is vital to go to the SPAM ASSP page in cPanel and disable the No local addresses filter option for the domain as this stops catch-all addresses working, you can read more on this on the page.

Regards,

Darryl
