Currently I have a site hosted at Fasthosts with domains registered there also. Shortly I will have to move my blog from my site to Blogger when their FTP support disappears. Therefore I will have:
FH hosted site
FH registered domains (.co.uk and .com)
External nameservers (needed to create CNAME for blog)
If I move to NH can I simply purchase hosting and edit A and MX records to point to NH to begin with? My plan would then be to use NH nameservers if I (or your techies) can create a CNAME record and then finally transfer my domain registrations. The basic package should do fine if I can park my .com domain on top or my .co.uk domain. Does this sound sensible?

|

Hi,
Thanks for your interest in NetHosted!

Sure, that's no problem. We can create CNAME records when you want to move over to our nameservers.
You can park the other domain you have on top of your main domain on the Basic Plan.
I can see no problems with your plan!
Thanks,

Thanks for the speedy response.
Until I move to NH nameservers I know that I would have to sort out web forwarding/domain parking myself. Are there any other control panel features that would not work? |

Hi,
As long as you have pointed the domains via their A records all web related features such as parking/adding on will fully function.
Thanks,
