I've got a potential client interested in a simple shop idea, maybe just using paypal for payments. Anyone got any options.
I don't want to reinvent the wheel or spend too much on it or supporting in the future so ease of update is a great idea
Fantastico has some E commerce installs but they seem a bit heavy?
There is also Soholaunch pro. Has anyone used that?
What about these? http://www.shopcreator.com/index.html or even MrSite?
What about requirements on the hosting? Would that need to be different? eg. for security..
many thanks in advance _________________ Getting the hang of it slowly (subject to comment) |

Hi,
The very simplest idea would to be use PayPal exclusively, i.e. just a PayPal pay now button which takes some client details before payment.
Depends on your needs. Magento is vastly too complicated and powerful for these simple cases, OsCommerce is probably a bit leaner and better suited.
Thanks,
