This is viewable here: http://status.nethosted.co.uk/.

If the server you are hosted on is running fine but you do not appear to be able to access your site but can access other sites it is possible you have been blocked by our firewall. This will ban your IP if you have repeatedly failed logins for services such as FTP, Email or cPanel hosting account logins. If you think this might be the case you should take a traceroute to your server, to do this on windows run the following in a command prompt:

“tracert yourdomain.com”

You should then find out your IP, you can do this using our script here: http://www.nethosted.co.uk/check-ip.php and put the results of the traceroute and your IP into a ticket to support stating that you cannot access your site. We can then use this information to determine the cause and unblock you if needed.

What SSL server type do we run?

Security

SSL Certificate creates a private channel which encrypts the data throughout transmission, and as these certificates are issued by trusted sources your clients can be assured that the padlock icon means their data will be secure.

To install an SSL Certificate on your domain it must be hosted on a dedicated IP address, if you have a reseller hosting account then you have one or more of these included. These can also be added to shared hosting accounts and further dedicated IP’s can be added to reseller accounts, you can purchase these through the Order Account Addons section in your client area. It’s possible to order the SSL Certificate with the IP, or separately through the Order Account Addons option.

After the certificate is ordered we need some further information which you can submit to us via a ticket to generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR). The CSR is needed to setup an SSL Certificate, this is as follows:

Email: This should be a site contact email
Password: This is a new password used to create the SSL certificate
SSL Hostname: This is the site to make the certificate for.
City:
State:
Country (2 letter abbreviation): GB
Company Name:
Company Division:

After you have given us this information and payment has been sent we will install the SSL Certificate on your web hosting account and your site will be secure, showing visitors the padlock icon giving them the assurance that their details are safe.
