I am looking at one of your hosting plans and you provide a free domain, which I also need. Your T&Cs say that your usual charges will apply to renewing a domain name once the initial period has expired. A few questions: - what are your usual charges for domain name renewals? - do you charge for transferring to another domain name registrar? - your powerplan said it required a domain name associated with it: Does this mean that at least one domain name must be/ remain with you as registrar (and on your DNS server)? |

Hi, For .com/.net/.org domains the renewal cost is £9.95+VAT, for .uk domains it is £7.29+VAT. We do not charge for transferring to another domain registrar as long as the free domain registration period has passed. The domain does not have to be registered via ourselves no, it can be registered via any registrar. In most cases it is best to use our nameservers but if you are comfortable using your own nameservers you administer then that is fine too. Regards, Darryl |
