My client has recently purchased 2 domains (.com & .co.uk) I have setup through WHM and created a cPanel account for the .co.uk extension. I now want to park the .com domain so that it displays the website hosted on his default account.

How do I successfully do this as I'm having trouble! I've been using DNS functions in WHM to add and park domain which doesn't appear to work, even though it reports domain is successfully parked? I notice that the parked domain doesn't show up in his cPanel.

Any/all help is appreciated.

Many thanks

Hi,

Login to the cPanel for the .co.uk (either via the List Accounts page in WHM or by using the details you used to set it up with) and then park the domain using the tool there.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for prompt reply. Do I not have to go through the steps of adding DNS zone first for the .com domain?

Is it simply a matter of logging into customers cPanel and using park domain tool?

Best

Hi,

You don't have to edit the DNS zone, these are created automatically when you add the Parked Domain via cPanel.

Regards,

Darryl
