Perhaps at the Help Desk you could have a login option which would allow a user to see all of his/her help tickets instead of requiring people to keep track of the help ticket number. I've seen it done before and it works quite well. Maybe give it a shot? :)

You can go here: http://www.nethosted.co.uk/support/help ... p?cmd=lost and all the ticket ID numbers you've created will be sent to your email address.

I appreciate this isn't an ideal solution, but this software is developed by a third party so we are limited as to what we can do.
