Pete, I've had a play with this and I'm impressed so far. I'm already a long term user of Webkit so the rendering speed is nothing new to me, but I'm interesting in seeing some JS benchmarks as I believe this is a completely new engine. Certainly worth giving a try! Andrew |

Yes, feels like FF3 without the clutter - which aiui is exactly what they are aiming for. If I was a Mozilla developer I might be a tad miffed, unless of course I thought there could be a job at google on the horizon. I suspect the availability of good quality plugins will be critical for take up, but I don't think it will be long before people start writing them - if indeed they haven't already begun.
