We've found plugins like W3 Total Cache/Super Cache to cause pages to intermittently not load on our service so we do not recommend installing these. Thanks, Andrew |

Hi Andrew Given that the two above caching plugins seem to extremely popular (approx 9 million downloads between them) and would appear to be `best in class' for something which is rather important for site performance and SEO, this is a bit of a drawback. Do you think you will get resolution on this issue ? If not, are there other Wordpress caching plugins which do not cause conflicts with your service FYI, I'm using Wordfence Security which is extremely popular & very highly rated. The latest version includes a caching utility called Falcon Engine which claims to offer the fastest WP caching available. I guess it's too early for you to definitively state whether it causes conflict with your service so will you be running tests to gauge it's suitability as an alternarive caching plugin ? Here's the link if it helps: http://vimeo.com/91217997 Thanking you in anticipation Kevin |

Hi Kevin, It's been some time since we've had reports from users of issues with these plugins and I can see a fair number of them in use on our service. The problem exhibits itself fairly quickly as blank pages after a few page loads/refreshes. I have just tested this out on a some sites using these plugins and see no sign of it any more. It could be that the use of them now does not cause any problems as the plugins have been upgraded to fix the bugs causing this. We don't provide a recommended caching solution for WordPress. I would encourage you to try out the caching solutions you wish to use to see if they work for you on your site. We offer PHP opcode caching by default so you do already benefit from caching when using our service. Thanks, Andrew |
