just a quick heads up a scam: got this email after registering a new domain. what really made me laugh was the CANSPAM disclaimer at the bottom. Attention: Important Notice , DOMAIN SERVICE NOTICE Domain Name: savingrarebreeds.org ATT: Neil Armitage savingrarebreeds.org Response Requested By 10 - July - 2015 PART I: REVIEW NOTICE Attn: Neil Armitage As a courtesy to domain name holders, we are sending you this notification for your business Domain name search engine registration. Failure to complete your Domain name search engine registration by the expiration date may result in cancellation of this offer making it difficult for your customers to locate you on the web. I have got these type of emails as well, Google mail does a good job of putting them in the spam bin. I normally put Whois protection on my domains, for those domains I don't get them. Is this the one that want to charge $75 or £75 for 1 year renewal? |
