I am using a plugin on my wordpress site that uses Ajax. It is not working correctly and I get the following error:

406, "An appropriate representation of the requested resource /wordpress/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php could not be found on this server."

I have seen many so called fixes for this on the web including changing mod_security settings via .htaccess files. As far as I can see my setting s reflect those that have been suggested.

Do you know of any reasons why I could be getting such an error?

Hi,

You are triggering a mod_security rule, I have removed the rule from this site for you now.

Thanks,

Andrew
