I have to say I'm a bit confused now! as I didn't realise the dedicated IPs were used for the private name servers.
What I would like to do is set up a resellers account with private name servers. I do not want to use a dedicated IP for the main account, but use them for a couple of addon domains at a later date.
Can I do this without extra cost?

No you can't I'm afraid. We setup private nameservers with dedicated IP's, ns1 will be your first IP and ns2 your second.

OK, private name servers aren't worth me giving up 2 IP addresses (£40/year).
I take it if I go for the Starter resellers package, then I can update easily at any time should I need the Standard Reseller? Do I have to use one of the dedicaticated IPs for the main account?

You can update easily yes, no need to use one for the main account no!
