This is the first time ever I use paypal to pay for something, so i'd like to ask a couple of questions.

1./ My account is not verified as I do not have a creditcard, can I still pay you using paypal?

2./My account contains exactly 80 Euro. I am interested in your shared plus plan, which is 55 GBP. Currently this comes down to about 80,20 euro. Will this be rounded down to the 80 Euro or will I have to deposit 1 euro extra on my paypal account? (This takes 2 days, in case you wonder about the relevancy of this question.

Hi,

Thanks for your interest in NetHosted.

1) You can still pay without being verified.

2) I'm not aware on PayPal's policy on this, I imagine you'll need to top it up. You should check with PayPal in my experience their exchange rates don't match, for exampe, xe.com's.

[edit] I've just checked with PayPal currently: £55.00 GBP = €78.29 EUR

Hope that helps,

Andrew

XE.com is exactly what i am using to convert curency. I did not know paypal had its own exchange rate for currency.

Thank you for the quick response, this is something I noticed about you company when I had some questions a couple of months ago. Now that I finally have the money and need for hosting, I made the decision to do bussiness with NetHosted. Filling in the forms right now

;) .

After filling in all the forms and clicking submit, it takes me to the paypal website and asks me to submit my payment. I fill out my paypal account details and click sumbit again. Now it's asking for my creditcard details, which I don't have.

This is my first time using paypal, so I migth be doing something wrong here. Help would be apreciated.

Niels.

It seems as though PayPal is insisting that you have a card on there even if you have sufficient funds in your account. Are you able to add a card?

No, I do not have a credit card, so I cannot add one. I will go through the process again and pay carefull attention to what I click on.

If I can't find a way around this i'll have to wait until I have a creditcard :( .
Thanks for the help.

Niels

Perhaps I don't have enough money on my account. it may have something to do with exchange rates. I will also try adding more money to my account.

Guest, assuming you are from Europe, you could contact chronopay, they provides everything you need to accept and process payments by credit and (some) debit cards online.
