As a new reseller planning the setup of accounts I would be interested in the observations of the more experienced resellers regarding the use of the two fixed IP addresses that come with reseller accounts. Have you found that there are uses for these IPs with regard to particular applications and should be reserved for that use, or is is just a matter of avoiding difficulties in the local DNS lookup process?

Off the top of my head I can think of three reasons why people want sites on dedicated IP's:

1) So they can install a SSL certificate onto that site

2) They believe it helps that sites Google ranking

3) They want that site to have custom nameservers
