I'm a new customer and attempting to install my php app onto earth. When I instantiate a PDO object I get:

Fatal error: Class 'PDO' not found

According to the phpinfo PDO does seem to be installed on earth, but only for mysql and sqlite. I'm using pgsql (which is actually why we came to NetHosted). Would it be possible to get the pgsql driver installed?

Now having said that I don't think the error is necessarily due to the missing driver. I'd have expected a PDO error, and in any case I get the same problem attempting to instantiate a mysql db. Any thoughts on that?

Cheers

Rob

Rob,

I've added pdo to your custom php.ini, does this solve the problem for you?

We don't currently support pdo_pgsql.

Thanks,

Andrew

That did solve the class problem thanks.

Unfortunately we do need pgsql support from PDO. We should probably have asked that specific question before signing up, but jumped on board as you're one of few hosts with pgsql support.

Is there any possibility the driver could be added?

Regards

Rob

Rob,

I can look into the feasibility of adding this module for you later this evening.

Thanks,

Andrew

Rob,

pdo_pgsql is now supported on your server.

Thanks,

Andrew

That's great, thank you very much!

I'm not sure whether this is related but I now can't access pqsql databases from cPanel. No databases or users are listed, and when I create one the function appears to succeed only to return to an empty list. The phpPgAdmin tool gets into an infinite refresh loop on the login page.

Regards

Rob

Rob,

Your database/users are back, I can't spot the issue with PHPPgAdmin quite as quickly so will get back to you when I have that sorted.

Thanks,

Andrew

Rob,

As far as I can see if you stop the loop and enter the correct password, phpPgAdmin works without issue.

Thanks,

Andrew
