Morning.

one of my domains has expired, which is fine as it was being moved.

Was just wondering if there is an easy way to access the drupal install that was ( ie. mercury.solardns/website?)

or do i need to download the files use xampp.

i already tried the hosts file

Hi,

You can create a local hosts entry to direct the expired domain to mercury's IP which will allow you to access the website.

I would add use incognito or similar browser mode to avoid caching problems. chrome seems to cache everything always

No problem, that's a really good idea to use Incognito to prevent caching.
