I think you fill find that the way any object is perceived is highly dependent on the context in which it is placed. You might get wholly different feedback if you put them in place in a page.

The white bits seem to indicate that you are using complex lighting or the surface of the button is wobbly. Looks like you are in a bar or a studio or a dance hall. Is that what you are looking for?

Button 1 & 2 are using lighting, which I haven't really played around with, so they where they was in the begin.

No that not really what I am looking for, just the top two look odd without it.

I think I may go for button 3
