) and it's community. It looks after the public parks, gardens and recreational / sports grounds and also holds a charter right to conduct weekly street markets.
I used the to create the site. The theme is a modified version (altered typography & new styles for blockquotes & images) of the excellent by Steven Wittens (who I believe also created the BlueBeach theme you see on ).
I don't know much about search engine optimisation, but using the path module (for rewriting urls) and the Google Sitemap module (which automatically creates and submits a ), the site shows up at the number one spot on Google for a couple of appropriate searches and not too far down the list for others
The crossfading slideshow on the home page is done using a great script (slightly modified) from
http://www.splintered.co.uk/experiments/65/ which gracefully degrades to a list of images with javascript and/or css turned off.
